Dear Jeff,
Thank you for performing at our annual gala dinner last evening at the Waldorf -Astoria. Needless to say, your appearance at our event was a HUGE HIT with our guests. In addition, thank you for being so gracious to our officers at our reception prior to the dinner.
After the dinner, 50 of our member companies have open hospitality in their suites in the Waldorf. Everyone walks through, grabs a drink and chats with industry colleagues. Of course everywhere I went the guests commented on your act. As you know, the pharma industry is heavily concentrated in New Jersey and the guests either live there or come often. I must have heard 100 people repeat your joke ‘Newark Airport is the Newark of airports.” Now that’s a joke to which they could relate!
