Google Review: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!
I was a guest last month at my friends wedding at the University Club and experienced the fantastic Charles St. Paul Band. My fiance and I danced the whole night and enjoyed the performance so much, that we contacted Star Talent and booked the band for our own wedding next year.
We thought we were going to have a hard time finding the right band for our party. No band we considered had anywhere near the talent and energy level that Charles and his band showed us, and we looked at several of the well known bands around New York. We saw some demos but when we saw the bands live, we had been totally disappointed. We thought this band selection process was going to be a real challenge. Some of the bands we met were such arrogant ego maniacs we could not ever imagine them at our party. One organization spent more time talking about other company’s bands, basically telling us they’re the only reputable company… meanwhile the more I asked around, the more problems I heard about them not sending the band that was contracted !!!
Back to Charles. The dance floor was packed with all ages of guests from the moment the party began to the very end… and I know there was overtime as well. I was really surprised how he got older guests dancing to the current hits. They played a great variety of music and everything was performed with great fun and excitement. You can just tell that the band was enjoying playing this party as much as the guests enjoyed dancing to them. This is a band that has a fun time on stage and the guests really love it.
I have to mention in this review, the band was absolutely on target with all the Top 40 we love. Their singers were amazing, performing Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kesha, Katy Perry as if you can closer your eyes and be listening to the original song. But my fiance loved them because when it came time for them to Rock, it was like they turned into a completely different band and we were dancing to Journey, Bon Jovi, Springsteen, and Guns & Roses!!! Every singer in the band is fantastic and their are five of them.
I have never seen guests actually line up at the end of the party to thank the singers and bandleader. We also spoke with Charles at the end and we found him to be a complete pro.
We are so excited about our party next year. Now we are sure its going to be a total blast because we booked a fantastic band.
