Originally from Kingston, Jamaica – our DJ Frenchy started out entertaining a wide variety of international crowds at the Sandals World Resort in Ocho Rios. He then quickly moved on to a wide array of dance clubs as diverse as Pascha in Riccione, Italy and Club Sur in Akita, Japan.
His fun spirit led him to share the stage with major celebrity performers such as Grace Jones at CROBAR, The 70’s Disco Retro Party featuring Irene Cara and and how many DJs can say they have spun at Madison Square Garden, opening for The Village People.
In New York, DJ Frenchy was regularly featured at the Sound Factory, Sutra and Nells.
Today DJ Frenchy can be found driving the dance floor for upscale Weddings, Corporate Events and Fashion Galas throughout the NY Metro area.
“My job is to to bring the Fun! …and, in the case of a wedding, its one of the most important nights of a Bride & Groom’s life together.
Its a huge responsibility, but one that I enjoy and thrive on. Focusing on personalization for each client, whether a Bride and Groom’s unique set list or conveying the right mood for a corporate brand, my performance is absolutely locked in to the guest experience.
I love the creativity side of selecting and mixing music, but I look at myself as more of an “Architect,” building the clients dream party, to their specs, and not an “Artist” creating a performance around my own preferences. This is the essence of what has kept me busy as a full time professional DJ for more then 10 years.”
