*5 STARS* | Danced the night away with our awesome band
After shopping around, we decided to go with Michael Taylor and the All Star Band for a number of reasons. Firstly, we were comparing pricing between them and Hank Lane, and the rep I met at Hank Lane literally ushered me out of their offices when I asked whether there was a better price they could offer. After telling Hank Lane that we went with a band that negotiated with us, they came back to us with a counter offer. We weren’t happy with the shady nickel and diming, and we are so incredibly glad that we went with Star Talent.
We commissioned a 9-piece band, which included a few musicians playing background music, during cocktail hour. From the outset, Michael Taylor was patient, attentive, responsive, and willing to work with us. They gave us a list of music in their repertoire broken out by typical First dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son categories, as well as an extensive general list of music in the band’s repertoire.
They also offered to learn any new music that we might want included. The day of, Michael Taylor was personally at the reception the entire evening to make sure that everything went smoothly. Not just that, all of our guests asked us repeatedly throughout the night who our band was. They were absolutely amazing, and they kept everyone one the dance floor the entire evening.
