Star Talent Charles St. Paul Band performed for a wonderful Martha’s Vineyard wedding reception.
Destination weddings always take a little extra effort by everyone from guests to vendors, but the pay off is usually nothing short of fantastic. Martha’s Vineyard hosted 30 weddings on the island on this September weekend and we understand the popularity.
The Charles St. Paul Band performed and a special guest made a surprise musical performance. “Play some funk and I’ll join you” said Rick Marotta, wedding guest and former drummer for John Lennon, Meat Loaf, Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Sheryl Crow and so many other legendary performers.
Rick sitting in with the Charles St. Paul Band on “We Want the Funk” and “Pick up the Pieces” was a great surprise and fantastic party moment for the guests …and the band too.
Hi Michael,
I just wanted to say thank you to you and the Charles St. Paul band for making our wedding a night to remember! Sascha and I had the most amazing time, as did our families and all of our guests. We have heard so many compliments about how great the band was, so I thought I would share it with you. Pretty much every guest at the party danced non-stop the entire night. Please pass along my message to Charles and his crew, and feel free to use me as a reference anytime.
I’ve sent a few pictures that I thought you might enjoy. A few are of the band, and I’ve also included a few of Rick Marotta, one of our wedding guests who jumped in to play the drums for a song, as well as my uncle John Pollack who sang his famous rendition of Mustang Sally.
Best,
Alison & Sascha
